Wisconsin Architect features the work of Wisconsin architects. AIA Wisconsin hosts an annual Design Awards competition that offers architect members of AIA Wisconsin the opportunity to submit their best work. WisconsinArchitect is the online publication that publishes these outstanding projects. There are two projects designed and engineered by Performa being featured on the site.

Festival Foods Support Office 

De Pere, Wisconsin

Architect: Performa
Owner: Commercial Horizons Inc.
Contractor: Miron Construction Co., Inc.

The 42,500 square foot facility features a two-story lobby bathed in north light that celebrates the Festival Foods’ story. Local materials and daylight are key elements to the success of the exterior design which incorporates a modern form paralleling a pond and walkway throughout the local conservancy. The interior and exterior of De Pere limestone was quarried less than two miles away from the site. View full article, here.

Skyward World Headquarters 

Stevens Point, Wisconsin

Owner: Skyward, Inc.
Contractor: Miron Construction Co., Inc.

Skyward is an international software developer for school systems and was faced with the challenge of rapid growth. Created at the family kitchen table in the early 80’s, Skyward has grown to the point where they needed more than just a facility that houses employees. The company needed a way to recruit and retain young software programmers to central Wisconsin and believed a new headquarters would be a catalyst to this need. View full article, here.
