Transmitting Greater Efficiencies Under One Roof.
Operationally, Time Warner Cable juggled several locations when it ultimately embarked on a journey to bring its disparate workforce together in one building. Performa employed its strategic facility planning and design process to guide the company through the project and the unique challenges it presented. The resulting planning concepts not only respected and captured the successful attributes of Time Warner’s current operations, but also maximized the functional efficiencies that a single facility offers.
The Time Warner Cable Headquarters represents 108,000 square feet and brings together operating units previously scattered in seven different facilities throughout the Fox River Valley. The design captures the company’s identity and culture, and reflects the brand to thousands of people each day. The facility is three floors above grade and houses more than 700 people. At the heart of the design is a call center accommodating nearly 400 customer service representatives. The building also features a two-story atrium, a grand lobby and an open concept.
